SE Design has a career opportunity for a Civil Designer in either of our Cold Lake or Edmonton, Alberta locations.
Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual with 2 – 5 years’ experience providing engineering design and drafting support services for civil engineering works associated with municipal projects.
Position Duties:
- Design and drafting of site plans and civil engineering works (grading, stormwater management, underground utilities and surface improvements) associated with municipal projects according to Provincial and Municipal standards.
- Development and design of preliminary engineering concepts during the planning process.
- Quantity takeoffs and preparation of cost estimates for design projects.
- Drafting of asbuilt record drawings at project completion.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D for the creation of engineering designs.
