SE Design has a career opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager in our Cold Lake, Alberta office.

Position Description:

• We are seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering or consulting, including at least 5 years in a project management role.
• The Engineering Project Manager will lead and oversee the delivery of civil engineering, geotechnical, geomatics, and infrastructure projects across Alberta.
• This leadership role will provide experienced engineering and technical support to help ensure successful project delivery.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction, particularly on projects involving municipal infrastructure and First Nations communities.
• This role will involve periodic travel between the Cold Lake and Sherwood Park offices to support project implementation and execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering or consulting, including at least 5 years in a project management role.
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution. P.Eng. eligibility or registration with APEGA would be an asset.
• Familiarity with provincial and municipal standards for civil works, including current design standards and technical specifications. An understanding of geomatics or geotechnical engineering principles would be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a minimum of 4 years of verified Canadian driving experience.
• Positive work ethic and adaptability across a variety of projects.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and typical engineering software.
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
