SE Design has a career opportunity for an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer in Edmonton, Alberta.
Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual who has a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience with the design and approval of civil engineering works.
Position Duties:
- Preparation of stormwater management reports, drainage evaluations and master drainage plans.
- Design and approval of civil works (grading, stormwater management, and underground utilities) according to Provincial and Municipal standards.
- Formation and investigation of preliminary engineering options, cost estimates, cost-benefit analysis and leading stakeholder engagement during the development planning process.
- Knowledge and review of stormwater modeling and snowmelt processes and procedures utilizing PCSWMM, regional analysis methods, and other associated computer programs.
- Apply engineering and project management skills to oversee projects to successful completion.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and PCSWMM for the creation and review of engineering evaluations and designs.
